  1. dreamrealoh this is just proof of concept!
  2. dreamrealthe core idea behind bytecode.news works! This is a completely separate UI codebase.
  3. dreamrealI'm actually ridiculously happy about this
  4. dreamrealit's eating its own dogfood.
  5. dreamrealnevet was always supposed to be ingress- and egress-neutral, and having pluggable ingress - like irc, discord, http, slack - was just as important as having pluggable EGRESS - like irc, discord, slack, MULTIPLE http endpoints, just authed HTTP. And authed HTTP was a core part of that, because I don't write good UIs and I wanted to make it so ANYONE WHO COULD could step up to the plate and do it.
  6. dreamrealsure, reference-ui blows, and basic-ui is a total piece of trash... SO WHAT? That's just window dressing! The windows open!

  28. jreicherdreamreal: saw your comments on #java about AI. You're actively using coding agents? I'm curious how, if you are.
  29. jreicherI'm very conservative by nature with tech. It took me a long time even to get a smart phone. So I'm quite reliant on the experience of others to understand what new tech has to offer.
  30. dreamrealI'm directing them VERY carefully
  31. jreicherI'm more interested in how/whether you find them useful. Are you still experimenting, or are you using them because you've already started finding them useful?
  32. dreamrealI have definitely found them useful, but it's dinnertime here, gotta run
